Qualifications:

· Ten years experience in photography related fields including photo labs, photo editing, instructing, weddings, schools and daycares, portrait studios, and commercial studios.

· Six years Adobe Photo Shop™ experience, with extensive photo-editing techniques

· Understanding of and experience with lighting techniques

· Six Years experience with digital cameras (Nikon, Canon, and Olympus)

· Experience with all formats of film (35mm, medium format, 4x5, and 8x10)

Education:

· Associates Degree in Business Management, received on July 27, 2007 from Axia University

· High School Diploma from Buffalo Grove High School, Buffalo Grove, IL 1997

Work History:

2003-Present: Ken's Universal Photos

Responsibilities: I was solely responsible for converting the company from a film platform to strictly digital; Including: Instructing the owners and employees on the use of Adobe Photoshop™ and teaching other photographers how to use digital cameras.  Also: setting up a mobile studio in schools and daycare centers and creating precious portraits using props and backdrops with a simple lighting set-up.

August 2005-December 2005: Brooks Institute of Photography

Photo lab technician (took one season off from Ken’s Universal Photos

December 2001-August 2002: Tinker Air Force Base Portrait Studio. Responsibilities: Photographing military officials for promotion, review, or wall portrait purposes.

July 2000- December 2001: Color Chrome Custom Color Lab. Responsibilities included custom printing large (40"X60") prints such as art copy work and other tasks as needed in a commercial lab including refreshing chemicals.

1997-1998:  A&G Print Shop

Offset printing, full darkroom responsibilities, and typesetting using Quark Express™
